We put our Land Rovers through their paces

In day-to-day life, you’ll get few chances to use the amazing capabilities of the classic British 4×4. Mounting a kerb, or getting out of a muddy festival car park hardly test the limits.

Green Laning

Through autumn, winter and spring, we get together for monthly outings. Although we stay strictly on legal lanes, you’ll be amazed at some of the terrain. Steep slopes, rocky steps, river fords and boggy ground are all part of a season’s green lane explorations.

You’ll see exquisitely beautiful parts of the UK that are otherwise only seen by serious hikers and off-road bikers.

Off-road competitions / learning

Once or twice a year we visit a 4×4 off-road training space. Here we can try extreme terrain and enjoy hunting for hidden checkpoints. The competition is light-hearted. Hints are shared and expert help is always at hand if you get stuck.

Who we are

We’re a sociable group of enthusiasts who enjoy using our Land Rovers in terrain that challenges the capabilities of our vehicles and ourselves. We get together regularly in beautiful and challenging surroundings. We stick to legal public routes and permitted areas, but there’s no shortage of challenges.

We have expertise in the club

Lots of our members have been driving off-road for many years. They’ve tackled the UK’s worst mud, African deserts and American forests and mountains.

A few are technical professionals who can help with mechanical issues. Others are long-time enthusiasts who’ve owned all sorts of Land Rover products and know how to get the best from them.
